Introducing Business Manager Samuel Barrett Jr.
Sam Barrett Jr. began his career in the trades in 1988 as a newly initiated plumber with Heide
and Cook, where he worked for 12 years before continuing his career with Commercial
Plumbing for the next 19 years. After decades in the field, Sam transitioned into Union
leadership where he served as Sentry and Business Agent for seven years, as well as Trustee
for more than four years. He later became Assistant Business Manager under former Business
Manager Val Ceria. On October 13, 2025, President Matthew Brady administered the Oath of
Obligation to Brother Sam, officially appointing him as Business Manager Financial Secretary-
Treasurer at the General Membership Meeting. Through his years of experience, Sam brings
with him an understanding of what it means to be a member of Local 675, along with a fresh
perspective and vision for the future.
